Hablo de Leonard Cohen con “The future” y Johnny Cash con “God’s gonna cut you down”.

You can run on for a long time
run on for a long time,

sooner or later God’s gona cut you down.
Go tell that long tongue liar,
go and tell that midnight rider.
Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter.
Tell them that God’s gonna cut them down.
Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand,
working in the dark against your fellow man
but as sure as God made black and white.
What is down in the dark will be brought to the light…

… take the only tree that’s left
stuff it up the hole
in your culture
Give me back the Berlin wall
give me Stalin and St Paul
I’ve seen the future, brother:
it is murder.

Things are going to slide, slide in all directions
Won’t be nothing
Nothing you can measure anymore
The blizzard, the blizzard of the world
has crossed the threshold
and it has overturned
the order of the soul…
